[ Weiss is not one for cheesy things, but she has to show her appreciation to Yang in some way, right? She'll just have to drop the cold princess act and be nice for once!!
It's why when she catches Yang (hopefully) alone, she decides to make her move.
She knocks on the door frame or whatever surface is nearby and poses, casually leaning on whatever... is also nearby! This is her attempt at trying to be flirty the same way Yang does it, but she doesn't. . . look good like this, tbh.
Cradled in her arms is a light blue box with a silver Schnee snowflake emblemed at the front. ]
[Yang's propped up in her bed and appears to be in the middle of writing, knees pulled up with paper and a book braced against them with her tongue stuck out slightly in thought. She halts her slightly nervous tapping of her pen against her paper at the knock and looks up to behold...whatever that is Weiss is doing, is that...Weiss trying to be casual. Might be Casual!Weiss. Nice!Weiss is slightly different. ...She has not quite figured out how to pinpoint Flirty!Weiss.]
It's...Wednesday? No wait...uh...Tetre, right?
[That's the wrong day of the week and the little grin she has suggests she both knows that and also knows that's not the answer Weiss was looking for.]
[ Dammit Yang! That definitely is not the answer Weiss is looking for, and it shows with the groan she releases. Right after that, she walks towards the blonde with the flirty smile on her face, putting it on again as if nothing happened previously. Once she's close enough, she hands Yang the box.
It's not that heavy, but just about enough to make it a paperweight. ]
[Yang has the briefest of sheepish smiles on her as she puts aside her writing, casually pushing it under her pillow and scootching over while Weiss walks towards her, as if to make space for her to sit.
There's surprise and curiosity written all over her features at the box, carefully taking it from Weiss with an inquisitive glance over before she looks back at her.]
Awwwww~ Thank you. [She grins brightly although it fades to a briefly hesitant look.] I umm...I got something for you too. [Shyly.] Do...you wanna open each other's gifts together?
[ Weiss slowly sits down at the edge of the bed, making sure she doesn't take up too much space or make the mattress lower too much with her weight. She's a very light person, but you never know... Yang's stuff might fall or something from the pressure, too. ]
Yes, I'd like that. [ There's a look of excitement in her face, and it's impossible to hide her almost sing-song tone, too. ] I actually have something else for you, but that can wait until much later on.
[She's certainly piqued Yang's curiosity but she won't pry. As eager as she is to know, she likes surprises a lot and the wait'll make it all the more worth it.
Instead, Yang grins, although there's still something kinda faintly nervous about it, before she puts the gift on her pillow a moment and pushes herself off the bed.]
Close your eyes a sec.
[Nobody can know about her super secret gift hiding spot! Once Weiss's eyes are closed, there's a brief scrambling sound as Yang goes and retrieves something from...somewhere, and then gently places it on Weiss's lap. She then plops herself back onto the bed such that it probably makes the mattress jump a little and puts Weiss's gift back on her own lap.]
Okay. All clear.
[Weiss's gift is wider in shape but also much thinner in depth, not unlike a standard picture frame even though it's clearly a gift box. Yang is also a lot more visibly nervous now as she's clearly fidgeting a bit with her own gift in her lap. She's still grinning though.]
[ Weiss shuts her eyes like a very excited child, almost as if it's her first Christmas. This is her first Valentine's with someone, after all. Her birthday's have sucked since her mother and father have drifted apart, and now it seems like she has something to look forward to now that she and Yang are an item.
Once she feels the box plop on her lap, her hands immediately search for it, eyes still closed. She grasps it tightly as if it means the whole world to her (it does), and waits for Yang's signal. ]
Do we open our eyes on 3, or the present?
[ By which she means... can she open her eyes now or was the "all clear" pertaining to something else? YANG HELP. ]
[Yang is giggling as she answers, giving Weiss an affectionate bump with her shoulder. She never closed her eyes to start with but shhhh Weiss doesn't need to know that.]
Okay, 1...2...3!
[With a wide grin, Yang'll start on her own present.
As for the gift Weiss has, inside the white gift-box (which Yang has decorated with little stickers of flowers and hearts) Weiss will find a small paper scroll tied with a yellow ribbon and a pair of tickets. The tickets appear to be associated with some kind of boating service located in Port Niras. The scroll reads as follows in an overly loopy version of Yang's usual script:
"Yang Xiao Long cordially invites you to a day of sailing and sun on beautiful Lake Niras. A decadent picnic lunch will be provided."
[ Yang will get her bouquet upon reciting "3"! As for Weiss, she quickly opens the scroll as if it were her birthday (it is). She hasn't been excited for presents in a while, so this is so much fun!! ]
This is perfect! You can get your other gift while we're on the boat.
[ This time, when she looks at Yang, she actually smirks and bats her eyelashes at the blonde as if to prove she's plotting something diabolical. :') ]
She's beaming though at the delight on Weiss's face as she opens her gift and then the diabolical smirk. That's hot, okay?]
I can't wait.
[She lets some allure drip into her tone as she gets up, moving to rummage under her bed for the vase she sometimes keeps in a way that almost seems to purposefully show off her backside before she comes back up with a seductive smile.]
Maybe I'll have another surprise for you then too.
[ Weiss has to look away at the "show" just because she knows Yang is DOING THIS ON PURPOSE, although when Yang is back, she flashes her confident smile again. She will not be beaten! ]
Alright, then. Let's see what you've got, Yang Xiao Long.
[ANYTHING CAN BE A COMPETITION. And Yang aims to win a flirting one.]
Almost. I just wanna quick change into something more comfortable.
[What she means is she wants to change into something nice and that she won't mind getting on a boat in, even though she knows that's not at all how that phrase is supposed to work.]
It'll just be a minute? [Innocently.] Unless you wanna watch?
[Yang laughs in a way that's admittedly kinda evil-sounding as she turns to head over to the closet.]
Okay. I promise I won't keep you waiting long.
[And she won't! In short order, Yang is dressed in her favorite sundress with a small leather clutch purse over her shoulder and a wide grin on her face as she exits RWBY's shared room.]
the 14th!

I lost this in my inbox I'm so sorry orz
Aw, Weiss! These are beautiful!
[How did Weiss guess she loves sunflowers?

no sweat!
Alright, then. Let's see what you've got, Yang Xiao Long.
[ THIS IS NOT A COMPETITION, WEISS?? ]
Are you ready to go?

The question flusters Weiss enough, though, that she ends up almost shouting at the blonde. ]
I will not be tempted by your charms right now.
[ She even points at her in an accusatory manner! ]
I'll be outside.

[Stop.]

You look beautiful.
[ It makes her fidget a little, shown by how she fixes her ponytail. ]
Even more beautiful than Lake Niras, I bet.
