[Blake coming to Yang's place of work wasn't unusual. Blake eating there was slightly less common, but still happened.

Blake leaving her tip in a folded napkin was strange, particularly when it had writing on it.]

Meet me at my room tonight.

[Then, apparently deciding that sounded ominous, she added]

For dinner.

[Far from sounding ominous, the invitation to Blake's room is almost enough to warrant an intrigued "Oooooo" from her, even with the writer no longer present. The clarification for dinner however just makes her grin, if with a small affectionate roll of her eyes first at the way the message has been delivered and since Blake isn't present. Nerd.

She pockets the napkin and the tip and then sets about finishing her shift, now beaming and all the more eager for it to end.

And sure enough, that evening finds her strolling up to Blake's door, the same bright smile on her face that she'd had at the diner.]

[ weiss seems a little uneasy when she finds yang. it's not because of yang that she is, but because of the envelope she's holding. ]

Hey, Yang? You didn't pull a prank on me, did you?

A-OK!

[Yang, like the good friend she is, freezes as if she's gotten caught with her hand in the cookie jar.]

Oh gawd...don't tell me, you found out about the hair-dryer?

[And then she notices the unease in Weiss's expression and drops the act.]

No, I've kept my hands clean, I swear. ...Something happen?

[ WAY TO MAKE HER MORE PARANOID??? truly a good friend. ]

Well, I found this letter in the mail. It's unsigned.

[ she fishes out the piece of paper and hands it to yang for her to read. ]

[Yang'll look at her confused and then take the offered piece of paper. Her features'll shift through a few expressions as she reads it from curious to bemusement, to cringing, to...biting her bottom lip.

Which doesn't work because a loud snerk escapes her anyway, followed by her just giving up and laughing.]

Oh my god.

[Hang on. She's got this. Pulling it together. ...Nope, cracking up again. And she's having a hard time getting her words out now.]

I'm sorry. [Not really.] The ice sculpture thing, I can't...

[Deep breaths, Xiao Long.]

Oh...oh wow...some things just don't change.

[She coughs to clear her throat and regain the rest of her composure as she hands the letter back.]

I had absolutely nothing to do with this.

[schmisse]

[ the more time yang takes to read, the more uneasy weiss feels and then the blonde starts laughing and everything just goes downhill. her cheeks flush at the idea of somebody thinking that way towards her—it's not new, but to actually be told these things—it's too much! ]

Don't laugh! It's not funny!

C'mon, it's kinda funny.

[Kinda very funny. She can't wait for the guitar serenades to start again, those were a riot.]

You've gotta have some idea who'd send this.

That's the thing! [ her eyes widen, brows knit together as she frowns. ] I have no clue.

[ she's not about to deny that she's attractive, but nobody's really shown interest in her in this place. ]

What if it's a stalker?

[She seems genuinely surprised by this, but then she offers a small reassuring smile.]

I'm sure one of us would've seen somebody if you had a stalker.

[A small snicker and her expression turns thoughtful.]

Okay, well, we know it's not Jaune.

[...Probably.]

Maybe it's somebody from work?

[ she doesn't think it's jaune too! thank god for that. ]

No, the guy I know from work doesn't write like this. He talks more like some kind of... weirdo.

[ she places her palm on her face, fingers splayed so that yang can see her eyes. when she speaks again, her voice takes on a lower register. she's trying to imitate gundam tanaka. ]

[Excuse her while she snorts out another laugh at that impression.]

Okay, so not that guy.

[Another thoughtful look and then her smile turns slightly lop-sided.]

You know, it might not be a guy at all. Got any girls who are friends but not girlfriends I don't know about?

[God, Yang why...]

[ yeah... yang should meet gundam so she can see for herself how terrible that impression was. :') ]

Girls? [ she frowns. ] Is this the part where I tell you that I don't get along with much girls here?

[ ... wait, wait, wait. that time she met magilou, they talked about love and that witch has always been so intrusive when it came to weiss' relationships. could this be a prank that she set up? ]

[She'd honestly love to meet him. He sounds ridiculous.]

I'm just saying it's not just guys that think you're pretty. [Ahem.] And your secret admirer said your skirt was cute.

[ ... a pause, and her she frowns. ]

I wouldn't call them terrible pick-up lines, exactly.

[But she's also an ass so...]

You sure it couldn't be him?

[Admittedly she doesn't know Atsushi very well yet, but...]

I'm very sure.

[ and she's also denying the fact that it could be him. ]

[nailed_it]

Well, your secret admirer'll probably come forward eventually.

[She's yet to see a secret admirer stay secret very long.

A small snicker.]

Or send you something else.

[Gawd, she hopes the next one is a love poem.]

Don't jinx it!

[ dear god...

but after a few seconds of giving yang the stick eye, she bursts into laughter. she really hopes she doesn't get something else, but it's funny to think about. ]

[Needless to say, Yang's laughing too.]

Okay, but if you get a ridiculously huge box of chocolates or something, you've gotta share.
